Nicole Berx is co-founder of The House of Marketing and currently a PhD researcher at KU Leuven. While at The House of Marketing, Nicole developed a keen interest in big data & data science and artificial intelligence. This passion prompted her to make a career switch and start a PhD track with a focus on safety and health in the collaboration between humans and robots.
Prior to setting up The House of Marketing, Nicole gained years of experience at the marketing departments of various FMCG brands. At The House of Marketing, this knowledge was supplemented with marketing consulting assignments at companies in various sectors. As a manager, she also gained a lot of experience in other fields, such as HR, change management and coaching. She can advise start-ups on everything related to marketing management, leadership and organization, and thanks to her current focus, also in areas related to applications of new technologies such as robots and AI/ML.
Nicole is a results-oriented mentor with an enthusiastic personality and a strong sense of ethics.
